Today, we are diving into a highly debated topic: "What is the most attractive hair color for ?" To get to the bottom of this question, I conducted a poll on our website and asked the public for their opinions. OMG folks.... 2746 people participated (which makes my survey kind of accurate 😊) I'm so happy about that, and thank you so much for your support! The results are in, and I'm here to share the findings with you.

Now, let's get to the juicy part. According to the poll, the sexiest hair colour for is... drumroll please... #BLONDE!
First things first... Why would you put the gray hair colour in the last position 😲? Nobody puts Baby in a corner! (Another elderly joke) I personally love it. As I said in my article "How to cover grays" there are plenty of gray hairstyles that look so sexy... But that's just me... If I have to be honest I voted for gray hair color, and I'm part of that 2% 😏

The contest for the most attractive hair colour is obviously won by the blonde color with 35% of the overall vote, followed by the brunette. The bronze goes to Pippi Longstocking (people 30 and above will understand 👩🦰). And the fourth place is for black hair colour.
But wait, it's not that simple. As you probably remember I added a few additional questions to the poll. They were about your age and gender. So, let's take a closer look.

According to the survey, the majority of men (42%) found blonde hair to be the most attractive. This was followed by brunette (36%), red (16%), black (5%), and gray (1%).

Black hair, you may be a little more reserved with only 5% of the vote, but you still exude a sense of mystery and elegance that some men just can't resist.
And last but not least, gray hair got 1% of the vote. It might not be the most popular choice, but I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time before silver foxes become the new black.

Both lighter brown hair and lighter blonde hair are preferable to darker or black hair.

For the young and restless (19-39), the majority (47%) thought blonde hair was the epitome of attractiveness, followed by brunette (32%), red (17%), black (3%), and gray (1%). I can only assume that the young participants are chasing the sun and going for that beachy blonde look.
For those in their prime (30-39), the majority (50%) preferred brunette hair. Maybe they're getting serious and settling down, or perhaps they're just tired of constantly having to touch up those roots. Either way, brunette hair is their top choice.
For the mid-lifers (40-49), the majority (55%) thought blonde hair was the way to go. Maybe they're trying to relive their youth or maybe they just want to show off their golden years. Either way, blonde is back on top for this group.
For the almost-seniors (50-59), the majority (60%) preferred brunette hair. We can only assume that they're feeling comfortable in their own skin and going for a classic, timeless look.
And for the golden oldies (60 years and older), the majority (65%) preferred brunette hair. We can only assume that they're wise enough to know that brunette hair never goes out of style.
