During winter, packages may be exposed to freezing temperatures in transit. Cosmetic World cannot be responsible for damage, delays, or losses caused by freezing weather conditions. If your order is weather-sensitive, please contact us before placing your order so we can discuss timing or delivery options.

Duties & Import Fees (U.S.)
For some U.S. orders, duties and related fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on current regulations. These may include duties, brokerage, regulatory fees, and U.S. entry fees.
All duty charges must be paid at checkout and are non-refundable.
DHL Express (U.S.)

DHL Express rates vary by location and are not eligible for free shipping.

Aerosols (hairspray, mousse, etc.) cannot ship via DHL.

Due to U.S. customs rules, products containing alcohol cannot be shipped by standard mail and must be shipped via DHL Express.

Customs & Duties (International)
Some countries charge import duties/taxes. These are handled by your local customs/postal services or DHL. Cosmetic World is not responsible for customs fees or delays caused by customs clearance.
International Orders Are Final Sale
All international orders are final sale, no exchanges or refunds.
If extra charges apply due to weight, we’ll contact you.
Carrier Delays
Delivery estimates are informational only. If your package is significantly delayed, email contact@cosmeticworld.ca and we will open a ticket with the carrier.
Please note: we cannot send a replacement until the carrier confirms the package status.
Tracking

Tracking is provided for all orders. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number.

If you have an account, you can also track orders in your Purchase History.

International DHL orders include DHL tracking.
Damaged Parcels
If your package is delivered to a PO Box, we are not responsible for damage caused by theft or extreme temperatures.
If items are damaged during delivery, please refer to Exchanges & Warranty → Products damaged during delivery.
Unclaimed Parcels
If a carrier can’t deliver your package, it may be held at a post office for pickup. You’ll need:

Government-issued photo ID with your address
Note: Parcels must be picked up within 10 business days. After that, the package is returned to us and your order will be cancelled and refunded minus return shipping costs.
Out of Stock Items
If something in your order is out of stock, our team will email you about the delay.
If your order includes in-stock and out-of-stock items, we will ship once all items are available.
Chemicals, Peroxide & Alcohol

Chemical, peroxide, and alcohol products ship by ground service only.

Due to special handling requirements, we cannot guarantee their condition upon arrival even though we pack them carefully.
