Shipping Within Canada

Attention Canadian Customers!

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, some orders outside the GTA may be delayed. We're using reliable alternate carriers to ensure your orders arrive quickly. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Orders shipped with Canada Post before Nov 15th:

Once our carrier team hands packages to Canada Post, they are out of our control. These orders are currently on hold and can't be delivered, rerouted, or canceled until the strike is over. We appreciate your patience as deliveries will resume once the strike ends.

Extended Canadian Shipping / PO Box

If you are ordering to a PO Box or your postal code is listed below as extended postal codes,

FREE shipping is available for orders over CAD149.

Flat rate CAD14.99 for postal codes listed below.

Flat rate 18.99 for PO boxes.

Additional charges may apply depending on weight.

Should your address is not a PO box while a PO box charge is applied to your order, please feel free to contact us to verify your address for the appropriate shipping charge.

Extra Extended Canadian Shipping

If your postal code is listed here as extra extended postal codes, extra charges are applied.

The shipping charge is estimated based on weight of the order. First kilogram is CAD39.99 and each additional kilogram is CAD19.99. 

Additional flat rate CAD 2 for PO boxes on top of the base shipping charge.

Additional charges may apply depending on weight.

If your address is not a PO box and an PO box charge is applied to your order, please feel free to contact us to verify your address for the appropriate shipping charges.

Shipping To The United States

Except Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico & Guam

Cosmetic World offers Free Shipping everywhere in the United States (Except Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico & Guam) for all orders over $99 CAD (after discounts and before taxes).
Shipping fees for orders under $99 CAD (after discounts and before taxes) are $14 CAD (flat rate). 
Additional flat rate CAD 10.99 for PO boxes on top of the base shipping charge.

DHL Express rates may vary with location and are not eligible for free shipping. Aerosol products, including hairspray, mousse, and similar items, cannot be shipped via DHL.

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam

Cosmetic World offers shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam. The shipping charge is estimated based on weight of the order. First kilogram is CAD34.99 and each additional kilogram is CAD19.99. 

DHL Express rates may vary with location and are not eligible for free shipping. Aerosol products, including hairspray, mousse, and similar items, cannot be shipped via DHL.

Packages are shipped from Monday to Friday.

Additional charges may apply depending on weight.

Delivery Times

The usual time for processing an order is 24 hours (business hours), but may vary depending on the availability of products ordered. This period excludes delivery times, which depend on your geographic location. Estimated delivery times:

International Orders (Except USA)

All international orders are handled by DHL Express, with shipping fees calculated based on the order's weight and delivery destination. Please note that free shipping does not apply. Typically, orders are delivered within 2-5 business days.

Aerosol products, including hairspray, mousse, and similar items, cannot be shipped internationally.

Electronics, such as hair dryer, trimmers, and similar items, cannot be shipped internationally.

We ship to most countries listed on our site. Kindly verify if your destination is included. For inquiries or if your country is not listed, please contact us at contact@cosmeticworld.ca

Certain countries may impose customs duties on imported parcels. You will receive detailed information on these charges from DHL, the Customs Department, or the local postal service of your destination country. Cosmetic World is not responsible for customs duty payments or any delays or delivery issues arising from them.

Please note that all international orders are final sale, with no exchanges or refunds. Additional charges may apply based on the package's weight, and our team will contact you for any necessary updates.

Carrier Delivery Delays

Our delivery times are for information only and do not constitute a guarantee. That said, if you experience an unusual delay in the delivery of your package, contact us at contact@cosmeticworld.ca and we will open a service ticket with the carrier. If necessary, additional delays may apply. Also, please note that we cannot proceed to send a replacement package without confirmation from the carrier as to the status and whereabouts of your initial package.

Tracking

All Canadian and US orders outside of Toronto, Aurora, Newmarket and Oakville are shipped with a tracking number. Once your order has left our warehouse, a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number will be sent to you. You will be able to track your package at all times. If you are a registered customer and have an account with us you will also be able to track you orders in your purchase history section. International orders shipped with a tracking number provided by DHL.

Damaged Parcels

If your package has been delivered in a PO Box, please note that we are not responsible for any damage that may result (consequences of extreme temperatures, theft, etc.). For products damaged during transport, please see our Exchanges & Warranty > Products damaged during delivery section.

Unclaimed Parcels

If the carrier fails to deliver the item as intended, it is sent to a post office for you to pickup. If you have received a delivery notice, follow the instructions on the notice to retrieve your item or check the delivery status using the tracking number we provided to you by email.

When you go to the post office to pick up your parcel, you will have to present the following documents:

• Delivery notice
• Official ID with photo and address

WARNING: You will have a maximum period of 10 business days to pick up your package at the post office. Once this period is exceeded, the package will automatically be returned to us and we will proceed to the cancellation and refund of your order, minus the delivery costs for the return of your package to our warehouse.

Out Of Stock

Some products offered may be temporarily out of stock. In such a case, a customer service agent will contact you by email to inform you of any shipping delays. If your order contains a combination of available products and out of stock products, we will ship the entire order once all products are back in stock.

Chemical, peroxide & alcohol are shipped by ground service only. Although we carefully pack these products, due to the special handling required for the transportation of these products, we cannot guarantee their condition upon receiving them. Sales are FINAL on all chemical, peroxides and alcohol.
