Hair cutting scissors need to be sharpened regularly to maintain their performance. To sharpen the shears, use a honing stone or razor-sharpening stone. Place the stone on a flat, stable surface and move the shears along the stone's surface in a back and forth motion, using short strokes. Make sure to keep the shears at a 10- to 15-degree angle as you sharpen them. Rinse the shears with clean water afterwards and dry them completely. Professional hair cutting scissors are ready to use!
